Winter is BACK at Boreal Mountain California
Boreal received 18" of fresh snow this week and we're officially in winter mode. Open 9am-9pm, Boreal is the place to be!
And just like that, Boreal Mountain California is open for the 2018-19 season. Cold temps dropped on Donner Summit, CA earlier this week which allowed the Boreal Mountain Ops magicians to work their magic. On Friday, November 9th, Boreal became the first resort open in California dropping fourteen features and endless good vibes on the Castle Peak chairlift. All the homies dusted off their gear to make it happen under the lights.
We open Friday, November 9th! • Boreal will be spinning the Castle Peak chair from 2pm-8pm with 6-8 park features • First 50 people in line will get a special #BorealMagic prize! • First in California 5 years running!
We will be open 9am-9pm for the 2018-19 season starting Saturday, November 10th.
Who else is as excited about this weather? Although the 10-day forecast is calling for sunny skies and 60 degree temperatures, we are still seeing a light morning frost up here in the higher altitudes. You’ll be here getting those turns in through the best snow in Northern California, sooner than you think!
We want you to have the best season of your life, that’s why no matter what age or skill level you are we have the right pass for you!
